Abstrak

Transfusi darah dapat bermanfaat dan berisiko bagi resipien. Kadang, resipien transfusi darah atau komponen darah dapat mengalami reaksi berat akibat tranfusi. Karena risiko morbiditas dan mortalitas terkait terapi transfusi, maka transfusi ditunda sampai keputusan dibuat bahwa transfusi memang benar-benar dibutuhkan. Transfusi dengan reaksi berat yang dialami oleh sejumlah resipien darah dan komponen darah dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai hal.
